Birth is hard but it can still be peaceful and empowering.

It started at an early age with my desire to simply be a mama someday. When I saw my first birth, I was hooked, and I knew I found my calling when I became a doula in 2016. After becoming a Certified Labor Doula through CAPPA in 2017, I expanded my horizons and knowledge of childbirth even more when I trained as an international midwife in 6 different countries. After traveling abroad for 1 year, my husband and I came back to put down roots in our hometown – Cincinnati.

In 2020 and 2021 I had natural births with both of my children and I got to experience firsthand how empowering it is to be cared for every step of the way by my own hand-picked birth team which included a doula. It was the hardest thing I have ever done but now I carry a confidence in women and their ability to do incredibly hard things.

Having served women all around the world, I have seen many different kinds of childbirth. And it all comes back to one thing – empowerment. No matter what “type” of birth you want, it’s important that you feel empowered and supported in your birth choices. I believe that women can have a peaceful birth experience and it would be an honor to serve and support you along your journey.
